Where Chaos Gets Organized (…Eventually)

Hi, I'm Sabrina, founder of PurpleLalu — professional chaos translator, ADHD-brain wrangler, and lifelong collector of unfinished notebooks.

But let me tell you how I really got here.

The Breaking Point

At 33, I was a stay-at-home mom to three kids under 5. My third baby was just over 2 when my entire world imploded in the span of a few months:

  • My mother-in-law (a whole situation) moved in with us
  • We moved to a new town, new house, new everything
  • My dad died
  • My husband wanted to separate 3 months later

Suddenly, I was staring down single motherhood with three tiny humans, zero income, no place to live, and grief so heavy I could barely breathe.

I needed to figure out how to survive—fast. No 9-to-5 was going to work with my life. I needed flexibility, income, and a way forward that didn't break me.

That's when I finally got the diagnosis that explained everything: ADHD.

The "Oh Shit, That's Why" Moment

Getting diagnosed at 33 felt like someone handed me the instruction manual to my brain—in a language I was just learning to read.

Suddenly, all the things I'd been beating myself up for made sense:

  • Why I could hyperfocus on a project for 12 hours but couldn't remember to pay a bill
  • Why I had 47 half-finished systems scattered across notebooks, apps, and sticky notes
  • Why traditional planners made me feel like a failure instead of helping me succeed
  • Why my partner and I struggled so much (spoiler: undiagnosed ADHD affects relationships hard)

I started researching ADHD like my life depended on it—because honestly, it did. I needed systems that worked for my brain, not against it.

Building Systems From the Wreckage

I began creating tools for myself out of desperation:

  • Family management systems so I didn't lose permission slips or forget dentist appointments
  • Content creation workflows so I could actually build a business (still a work in progress, obviously)
  • Habit trackers that didn't shame me when I missed a day
  • Brain dump templates for when my head felt like a fireworks factory

These weren't pretty. They weren't perfect. But they worked.

And when I shared them with other ADHD parents, creators, and overwhelmed humans? They worked for them too.

What PurpleLalu Is Really About

PurpleLalu exists for the beautifully overwhelmed dreamers:

  • The "I swear I put that somewhere" creators
  • The moms with 52 reminders and still no milk
  • The solopreneurs running seven side hustles and three imaginary businesses
  • Every neurodivergent human who wants their life to make slightly more sense

Everything I make—Notion templates, digital tools, productivity systems—is designed for brains that don't want discipline… they want dopamine.

Here, we turn chaos into clarity.
Not the fake Pinterest kind—the real, messy, human kind.

Why You Can Trust Me

I'm not a productivity guru with a perfect life and a color-coded planner.

I'm a single mom with a business degree who's been in the trenches. I've got the education (Bachelor's in Business Management), but more importantly, I've got the experience—living with ADHD, raising three kids, and building systems that actually work for messy, real life.

I've built these tools while:

  • Juggling three kids and their chaos
  • Navigating divorce and grief
  • Learning to run a business from scratch
  • Fighting my own ADHD brain every single day
  • Reading everything I could find about ADHD, productivity, and neurodivergence

I'm still figuring it out. Still struggling with content creation. Still learning. Still failing and trying again.

And that's exactly why these tools work—because they're built by someone who gets it, not someone who's pretending ADHD is easy to manage with a 5-step morning routine.

You're in Good Company

PurpleLalu exists for the humans who are trying, failing, trying again, melting down at 2 a.m., then getting back up anyway.

And that's the most badass kind of person there is.

Welcome to the chaos crew. Let's build systems that actually work for our beautifully messy brains.
